Grateful to mark the first anniversary of Nortek, Northern Moldova’s largest regional innovation center. Honored to have inaugurated this journey alongside State Secretary of Education Adriana Cazacu and Swedish Ambassador Catarina Fried, with support from the Swedish embassy First Secretary Thomas Alveteg.
Nortek’s success is a collaborative effort, thanks to partnerships with USAID, Sweden, UK, Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development, Ministry of Education and Research, ADR Nord, State University Alecu Russo of Balti, Mayorality of Balti, APIP, ATIC, and Balti Free Economic Zone.
Today, Nortek proudly supports a community of 4,000 students. The launch of Cisco Networking Academy today marks a significant step, with the first 10 students (including those from villages) beginning studies for globally recognized tech careers.
Thrilled by the commitment from Balti State University and the growing interest among students for careers in tech, cyber, media, and gaming. Gratitude to our esteemed partners Draxlmaier and Orange, contributing to the development of digital and engineering skills in the region.
Last but not least, Nortek sealed a new partnership for engineering education with APIP Industrial Business Association and Balti Free Economic Zone, hosting major automotive and industrial manufacturing investors.
